33 House Number

A project for myself to update the existing house number at my own home. I decided to choose two contrasting woods which are renowned for their moisture resistance: Cedar and Teak. I routed and carved out the Cedar base, and I inlaid the Teak numbers. I then gave the number a Danish Oil finish to ensure the project would be ideal for outdoor exposure, as well as hand painting a border around the numbers to increase the contrast between base and numbers.
